Bush says “Mission Accomplished” again!

bushBush vetoed the war-spending bill again! In a repeat of the famous 2003 speech aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, President Bush, this time speaking from the Jedi Temple said “4 years and $500,000,000,000 dollars later, the mission remains accomplished”.

This leads me to the question, what else could we have done with a meager $500 billion? Experts say, $500 billion can fund our Social Security program for the next 75 years and a quick calculation tells me that we can give every individual on this planet, (terrorist or otherwise) $85 each!

In summary, somewhere along the spending spree, 1) we forgot all about bin Laden, 2) blindly theorized …

Halliburton Plans Move to Dubai

halliburton

Q) What do you do if you are the most corrupt corporation in America and more than likely not going to enjoy being protected by the Republicans following the 2008 election?

A) Move to the Middle-East.

That’s right, at least that is what Halliburton is planning on doing. This move is as political as it is for business reasons, this corruption laden oil giants know how to protect their assets, after all, their most powerful advisor is working right from within the White House. Thanks Cheney for f***ing everyone!

UK Pulling out of Iraq

iraqWhile the US is busy planning a surge in armed personal in Iraq, their largest ally is pulling out. The Republicans say it is a sign of success, that the Brits are pulling out as they completed the task of securing Southern Iraq. Then why may I ask are they not heading north to help their US counterparts?

Obvious suspects are Nigeria, Kenya and Philippines! What’s up with them?

Democrats should put their “Mouth where the Money is”

You heard it right! Since they have no balls to stop President Bush from sending more troops, “Congress must use its main power - the power of the purse - to put an end to our involvement in this disastrous war,” says Wisconsin Democrat Russ Feingold. And I agree!

Saddam Dead, US Game Over

saddamMy peeve with Saddam’s death is not so much because the world lost a kick-ass dictator, but because he was the only one capable of keeping the 28 million or so idiots of Iraq from killing each other. Looking back at his (Saddam) heyday, Saddam had the majority Shea and the non-Arab Kurds in check (although by sheer brute force), which the current Coalition (read US & UK) forces cannot in a hundred years. I think the real loser in this story is not Saddam (yeah I know he lost his life!), but rather all of us, so thanks for spoiling my day!

Is This The End For Saddam?

Iraqi Body Count: a Positive Spin

iraqideadBy now, we all know that we are not “really winning in Iraq. With body counts mounting on both sides, the Whitehouse decided to use it to their political advantage to use it. Of course it is just an sign as to how the current administration values Iraqi lives, but that did not stop President Bush from using it. In a speech at the Pentagon, Bush said that in the month of October, November and the 1st week of December the US and coalition killed or captured 5900 of the enemy!

No Thanks Mr. Bush

webb-bush
Here’s a recent exchange between Virginia Senator Webb and GWB.
Bush: How’s your boy?
Webb: I’d like to get them out of Iraq Mr. President?
Bush: That is not what I asked you, how is your boy?
Webb: That’s between me and my boy Mr. President?
Bush is such an arrogant moron, what is wrong with this country, how can they ever elect him?
