Saying as it is!

Here’s Keith Olbermann saying as it is, what is he doing on TV, shouldn’t he be in DC?

Blogger Gets Wrestled by George Allen Cronies

Allen has done it again! Blogger Mike Stark, a first-year University of Virginia law student, approached Allen and asked “Why did you spit at your first wife, George?” and that was good enough reason for his goons to put him in a chokehold, wrestle him, dragged him backward and slung him to the carpet outside the meeting room. No one is for sure if Allen really treated his first wife bad, but going by the way his cronies treat the citizens of the commonwealth, it leaves me wondering if Allen is capable of doing what the blogger claims.

“Is this the beginning of the end”

bushUS ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad has said stabilizing the country is possible in a realistic time-frame, despite ongoing sectarian violence.

“Success in Iraq is possible and can be achieved on a realistic timetable.” [The outcome would] “profoundly shape the wider struggle and in turn the security of the world”. [The US] “should make adjustments in strategy ” [and redouble its efforts to succeed.]

America is at odds with more countries now than during the Cold War, many of who are in direct defiance of US and its interests and more dangerous than ever. Iran is on the verge of going nuclear, North Korea claims to possess such technology already, …

Gonzales Says CIA Rendition “A Myth, Latest Victim Say Otherwise

CIAA Syrian-born Canadian computer engineer was arrested late 2002 and secretly shipped to Syria for a year, where, according he was tortured and made to issue false confession. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales dismissed all allegation of US wrongdoing and in a profoundly stupid way said “I did not read the commission report on Maher Arar.

Now Here’s a Dilemma

bushThe Saudis want President Bush to intervene and stop the Israeli aggression in Lebanon. Bush has to now figure out if he would tell the bastards in the Middle East to stop fighting or tell the other bastards in the Middle East to stick the gasoline pipes up their youknowwhat!

The Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal told Bush that he is “either with the oil cartel, or with the Zionist, Bush now has to choose between oil and ally. My guess, he’ll pick OIL.

Supreme Court agreed will hear arguments from attorneys for the Sierra Club and the White House as to whether or not the Bush administration must regulate carbon dioxide to combat global warming. The decision means the court will address whether the administration’s decision to rely on voluntary measures to combat climate change are legal under federal clean air laws.

David Bookbinder, an attorney for the Sierra Club said “This is the whole ball of wax. This will determine whether the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is to regulate greenhouse gases from cars and whether EPA can regulate carbon dioxide from power plants.” In response, John Felmy, chief economist of the American Petroleum Institute (API) said, “Fundamentally, we don’t think carbon dioxide is a pollutant, and so we don’t think these attempts are a good idea.”

Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant, excess carbon dioxide is. It’s like drinking, when consumed in limited amount it helps your heart; when binged, it’ll hits your liver, kidney and your head. Obviously API will have issues if CO2 were labeled a pollutant, after all, their bottom line relies on sale of automobiles which fuel consumption of petroleum products.

My doubt however is not how clever the two groups lawyers are, but rather how the Supreme Court, who’s members are political appointees, would rule against the very people who put them in place (read Bush). I remember in 2001, when the Republicans were taken to the Supreme Court, they won an election with less popular votes than the Democrats. Need I say more?

FEMA gone wild

femaA new investigation reveled that Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) spent 16 percent of federal aid to hurricane Katrina victims for items like- sex change, vacation, seasons ticket for the New Orleans Saints, Champagne, and Girls Gone Wild videos!!! Government Accountability Office believes that the fraudulent payments were in the range of $600 million to $1.4 billons.

First they screw up, then they steal from the aid, how considerate.

Indian Film Board Hypocrites

davinciChristian groups in India have pressurized the Censor Board of India (the council that certifies films) to insert a legal note, which indicates the “fictitious” nature of the film The Da Vinci Code at the beginning for 15 seconds.

The Censor Board of India, a corrupt government body working in tandem with the ruling Congress government is attempting to appease the minorities yet again. I did not see an outcry for one such legal note for the movie “The Passion of Christ”, how did they know that was not fictitious?

This episode reminds me of when India (and its pseudo-secular government) banned Salman Rushdie’s “Satanic Verses” just to accommodate the Muslim minorities.

This goes to all who do …

Hayden says “you have no civil liberties if you are dead”

haydenAnother Bush crony get nominated, so what’s new. In speaking to the Senate Committee, General Hayden said “Intelligence works at the nexus of policy-making between the world as it is and the world we are working to create.”  Unfortunately, our liberties mean nothing to this a**hole, what he really is working on creating is a police state, where the big brother will watch over all of us, assuming that we may or may not be talking to some Arab. Some might insist that there is nothing to fear if they listen in on our conversations? Why fear unless we are guilty, to them I say, “go to North Korea, you will fit in there real well.â€?  …
