While the US is busy planning a surge in armed personal in Iraq, their largest ally is pulling out. The Republicans say it is a sign of success, that the Brits are pulling out as they completed the task of securing Southern Iraq. Then why may I ask are they not heading north to help their US counterparts?

By now, we all know that we are not “really winning in Iraq. With body counts mounting on both sides, the Whitehouse decided to use it to their political advantage to use it. Of course it is just an sign as to how the current administration values Iraqi lives, but that did not stop President Bush from using it. In a speech at the Pentagon, Bush said that in the month of October, November and the 1st week of December the US and coalition killed or captured 5900 of the enemy!

Honestly, I did not watch it, but from the blog reviews, it seem the two part mini-series was all BS and Right Wing Propaganda. Really, do we need more movies about 9/11, don’t we already have like eight of them! The blame game has begin, and we are still a good month and half away form the mid-term elections. Let’s face it, people don’t vote based on movies depicting 9/11, if they did, Fahrenheit 911 must have won John Kerry his presidency. I think people vote based on how stupid they are, so screw how Disney and ABC spins facts, truth is not necessarily everything you see in a made-for-TV movie.

When it comes to global war on terrorism, global economy and global politics, British Prime Minister Tony Blair no doubt sides ‘unconditionally’ with President Bush. But on the issue of global warming, Blair has in the past and continues to be more pragmatic and has managed to separate himself from the baloney the US Administration has propagated and more than half the nation has bought, that “global warming is NOT anthropogenicâ€?.
Prime Minister Blair met with California Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger (R), and signed a pact that makes the United Kingdom and the state of California partners in the battle against global warming. The agreement among other things will include sharing of research resources and technologies.
Shortly after the signing, Prime Minister Blair said “We are at least on our way to putting in place the framework that will resolve this problem,” he continued, “We know that the answers to this [climate change] will come in the end by the development of the right science and technology.â€?
California is the 12th largest emitter of carbon in the world despite leading the nation in energy efficiency standards and lead role in protecting its environment. According to a press release on CA.gov, California‘s climate change initiative will include:
1) Evaluate and implement market-based mechanisms that spur innovation that will better enable the carbon market(s) to accelerate the transition to a low carbon economy.
2) Deepen understanding of the economics of climate change.
3) Collaborate on technology research.
4) Enhance linkages between scientific communities in the UK and California.
Speaking at the signing, Gov. Schwarzenegger said, “California will not wait for our federal government to take strong action on global warming.
If nothing, this change in Schwarzenegger attitude is evidence that Steroids are less likely to affect your logical reasoning as does alcohol, the born again Christian Bush still believes that global warming and the triple digit temperatures heat wave sweeping our nation is “God made.

Bush told Blair during a G8 luncheon that a key to defusing the violence in the region was for “Hezbollah to stop doing this shit, and it’s over.” The conversation was caught by an open microphone nearby.
If Bush believes that Hezbollah was solely responsible for the mess, he is naïve.
If Bush believes that Hezbollah and Israel were jointly responsible for the escalation of violence, and he knew of the open microphone around him during lunch, and he knew that the media whores were out to eves dropping on his conversation with his British bitch, yet made a naïve statement such as this, he is extremely clever!
Oh, and if Bush believes that Hezbollah or Hamas would stop the attacks without Israel stopping its brutal aggression, he is dumb.
