Do you get the sense that our politicians and the media jerks alike are trying to make an issue with “skilled immigrants” in connection with the recently foiled terror plot in the UK?
I wish that for once they could just come out and say that the problem indeed are the Muslims and not all immigrants. When was the last time a Chinese or Filipino tried to fly a plane into a building? On the contrary, check this terror attacks map for the 21st century and you’ll soon find yourself running into the same lowest common dominator, A.K.A “Islamic Radicals”. So the …

By now, we all know that we are not “really? winning in Iraq. With body counts mounting on both sides, the Whitehouse decided to use it to their political advantage to use it. Of course it is just an sign as to how the current administration values Iraqi lives, but that did not stop President Bush from using it. In a speech at the Pentagon, Bush said that in the month of October, November and the 1st week of December the US and coalition killed or captured 5900 of the enemy!

US Vice-President Dick Cheney has said that insurgents in Iraq have increased their attacks in order to influence the upcoming US mid-term elections.
He blamed a recent rise in violence on al-Qaeda and others trying to “break the will of the American people”.
“They’re very sensitive to the fact that we’ve got an election scheduled,” he said, claiming the militants monitor US public opinion via the internet.
What a dick this Cheney is? And the White House is trying to smear Kerry!

US ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad has said stabilizing the country is possible in a realistic time-frame, despite ongoing sectarian violence.
“Success in Iraq is possible and can be achieved on a realistic timetable.” [The outcome would] “profoundly shape the wider struggle and in turn the security of the world”. [The US] “should make adjustments in strategy ” [and redouble its efforts to succeed.]
America is at odds with more countries now than during the Cold War, many of who are in direct defiance of US and its interests and more dangerous than ever. Iran is on the verge of going nuclear, North Korea claims to possess such technology already, …

In a NY Times Op-ed, Friedman compared the upsurge of Iraq resistance during the holy month of Ramadan to the Tet offensive of 1968 that eventually lead to shift in the US public opinion about the war. This month alone, over 70 US soldiers have died, making it one of the worst thus far.
President Bush acknowledged Friedman’s comparison saying he could be right!
Read an excerpt of the NYT Op-ed:
I’d suggest that in time we’ll come to see the events unfolding — or rather, unraveling — in Iraq today as the real October surprise, because what we’re seeing there seems like the jihadist equivalent of …

Honestly, I did not watch it, but from the blog reviews, it seem the two part mini-series was all BS and Right Wing Propaganda. Really, do we need more movies about 9/11, don’t we already have like eight of them! The blame game has begin, and we are still a good month and half away form the mid-term elections. Let’s face it, people don’t vote based on movies depicting 9/11, if they did, Fahrenheit 911 must have won John Kerry his presidency. I think people vote based on how stupid they are, so screw how Disney and ABC spins facts, truth is not necessarily everything you see in a made-for-TV movie.

From AP: BOMBAY, India - Seven bombs hit Bombay’s commuter rail network during rush hour Tuesday evening, killing 131 people and wounding more than 300 in what authorities called a well-coordinated terrorist attack. There was no immediate claim of responsibility in the bombings, which came in quick succession — a common tactic employed by Kashmiri militants. India’s major cities were put on high alert after the blasts. Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called an emergency Cabinet meeting and said that “terrorists” were behind the attacks.
Let’s face it, Muslims did it. And the communal tensions between Muslims and (pretty much) everyone else in India would ignite once again and burn down …

The US believes that this man, Ayyub al-Masri is the number one al-Qaeda man in Iraq following the killing of al-Zawahri last month.
Maj Gen William Caldwell, the US military spokesman in Iraq, said “We know al-Masri has been a terrorist since 1982,? prior to that, Caldwell said, “He acted as Arab Sheik in cheesy B grade movies.?
An audio message a few days ago by Osama Bin Laden indicated that a man by the name of Abu Hamza al-Muhajir was the new leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq. The credibility of the successor that the US has identified is not in question, at least not as much as the question of the identity of the successor Bin Laden mentioned. Confused? So are they.

Aside from the obvious “god willing, we are winning in Iraq, in Afghan…? statements, Bin Laden seem to be drawing international attention by going on Radio/TV and warning countries not to bother Islamic conquests in the most poorest and war ravaged parts of the world.
Bin Laden only manages to accomplish the exact opposite of what he intends. Unless of course the guy in the tapes sent to the media is not Bin Laden, instead a smart humanitarian, who in the guise of al-Qaeda’s leader is compelling the rest of the world to stop and think about ongoing crisis.
