Some great advice here. In terms of SEO software and how to find it, we created a site which houses all the top SEO software programs under one roof. We developed the idea from a collection of webmasters ideas around how much time we all waste searching the web for software that assists us in our SEO efforts. There are thousands of pieces of software out there and so much time is wasted wading through them all hence why we decided to bring all these useful SEO tools under one roof. One piece of advice I would give though is do not expect to get to the top of the rankings without hard work. Rarely does this happen, and if you are serious about being a webmaster then you need to consider it to be a long term relationship to really succeed.

Great post! i especially found it useful where you started. Most people that use search engines use only the ten top search results in the first page. Making it to the first page, more so to the top three is a barometer of a sites success in search engine optimization. You will get a higher ratio of probability in being clicked on when you rank high. The more traffic for your site, the more business you rake in.
