Web 2.0 Travel Websites Photo Community
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
With the new Web 2.0 generation of travel websites, there has been a paradigm shift in the way we could customize our vacation, whether it is a relaxed beach vacation or an adventure odyssey.
MyGreatWorld.com-The acclaimed new Photo-Community is a free ad-free, open community resource for travel destinations around the world, where users of the community supply tips, ratings and reviews – with pictures of the various beautiful places on this planet, be it a popular holiday getaway or an exotic spot yet to be discovered. It’s a huge database of any place on the earth with reviews and ratings that will guide you through… upload, share and discuss pictures of Germany for example. This approach is creative and offers a variety of perspectives from various people across the world. Rightly so, these web 2.0 websites will be able to compete with the already popular travel giants as the concept is community-driven.
Basically, this is an insightful planner or a guide where users help other users or visitors to get started on plans for a mountaineering, shopping excursions, or a chilled out beach getaway. And if that is not enough, you can upload your pictures and other users would rate your pictures helping you pick your own best or use the best-voted pictures for reference. Whether you are a business traveler or a personal traveler, get the bang for the buck by preparing and planning ahead of time. I am not sure if the site has teamed up with travel agents to club all the other resources you need for your vacation, but the site is emerging. Check em out.

Thanks for the info about the site. We currently use a FLICKR account to show potential clients the various photos we have of our own Kenya safari trips. This new site looks a better alternative for us to use.
Thanks
