   Is this theme WP 2.3 compatible? The theme is not rendering properly for me. I see the content with no design.

   @ Chris

   I did not test it on version 2.3, as far as I can tell, since there are no sidebar elements built into this theme, there should not be any issues using it with the new version of WP (although there is one deprecates tag in the file, it still should work).

   Over 2K support comments are testimonial of our service, so yes this theme will be supported too. As for upgrading the themes, we make new themes with new WordPress versions in mind, however, we also cater to our existing users who refuse to upgrade (like myself). So we try and limit potential upgrade issues by making the theme completely widget based using only the most recent non-deprecated template tags. So be worry free, our themes will not screw your blog up.

   I think I know what the problem is, if you had copied and pasted the code as is from the tutorial, it adds a space after < and before > to avoid executing the code in the blog post, this also prevents the code from executing in your template. Just remove the space and it should work.

   This theme relies on widgets to add those sidebar elements, so just swap (drag and drop) the respective widgets in the left and right sidebar from WP Admin > Presentation > Sidebar Widgets and you are done.

   I really like the look of this theme, but I’d really like it to be fluid. I’ve tried a few things, beginning with changing the div class referred to from “fixed” to “fluid” and then changing the body style in styles.css to something similar to another style that is fluid (FallSeason, my current theme). I can’t seem to get it to be fluid and look good. Can you help?

   @ David Potter

   I actually stripped the styling for fluid divs but seem to have left out a line or two. With that said, it is completely possible to have a full function fluid design based on this stylesheet, but would require some legwork that including at least defining four sections (main page, content block and 2 sidebar columns) that will become fluid.

   A good starting point would be to define the widths of the page (currently 800px) and each of these columns in % as opposed to px, for example, the page will become 100% or 95% or whatever you choose.

   Also change the padding and margins for the page and the three columns into %. That should get you going, let me know if you run into any issues.

   Remember, the key to successfully defining fluid widths is in allowing sufficient room in your columns for padding.
