Google buys Panoramio

Google’s latest buy is a Spanish Geo-photo Company Panoramio, a community Web site that allows people to “map” their photos on Google Earth. The technology enables to find the exact geographical location of where the photos were taken with that location on the map. Read here for more information on the terms and conditions of the usage.
Except for Wikipedia, Google’s Geographic Web now has two sources it can call it’s own, the Google Earth Community, and Panoramio. If only Wikipedia could also be bought by Google…!!
