   Hi there!

   I love this theme but do have one question: How do I get the welcometext to be shown a little bit lower? Do I have to edit the style.css?

   @ Richard

   Look for this section of the style in style.css:

   #featured-post-short {
   height: 036px;
   width: 440px;
   padding: 35px 20px 0px 20px;
   background: #29351E url(images/img03.jpg) no-repeat left bottom;
   color: #8CA575;
   }

   To bring the welcome text lower, change the padding from 35px 20px 0px 20px; to something like 55px 20px 0px 20px;

   I just changed the 35px to 55px, lowering the text by 20pixel

   hi, great template……
   i have one question.
   I try yo put in a contactform (plugin), but it looks not the way it suppost to look.

   When it change to a different theme it looks right so the plugin works…..

   what am i doing wrong???

   @ laura

   Which contact form plugin are you using?
   Try this!

   Also, try disabling any other plugins you have to check if one of them is cauing the plugin not to work.

   @ Laura

   Oh, then try this one, just to make sure it’s not plugin related. If your comment(s) form is visible, the contact form should look similar to that, so I see no reason why it should not be visible on your site.

   Hi i was thinking of using this theme on another site i have but one quick question … is there a way to use an image as the background of the sidebars … i tried but it only uses the image as far as there is content in the sidebar … is there a way to make it so that it shows the image as far as the main body ?

   Yes, you can add a background image to your sidebar, but I ma not sure if you want to add one behind both th esidebars or just the right most one? Let me know!

   First, great theme. I really like the layout. The only problem I’m having with it is when it comes to displaying pages- not posts. Links on my pages appear as normal text (as in no different color or underlines) plus not all of the text will show up on the page. Only around 30 words will appear, ending with this: [...] This isn’t the first theme I used with this particular site so I don’t know if that could be the problem or if it’s a plug-in I’m using? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

   Thanks for pointin out, there was an error in the script. To fix it, open page.php (Page Template) and look for this piece of code:

   ?php the_excerpt (’Read the rest of this entry »’); ?

   Change it to this:

   ?php the_content (’Read the rest of this entry »’); ?

   That should do it.

   Are you using any HTML codes in your posts? If so, remove all formatts. The theme has a CSS that formats it’s content.

   Help!
   I’m experimenting two problems with Losemymind with sidebar 1.0 theme:
   1.data entry for posts are wrong, appear 2007 instead 2008
   2.tags under the post are not displayed, there is only a gray bar without any tags…

   Can anyone help me?
   I don’t know php…

   @ Snowalker

   I am not the author of the theme you are writing about but I think you should look into the index.php and single.php file to see how the dates are set. Some might have hard coded the date instead of using a PHP tag, look for something that looks like this:

   <?php the_time(’j.M.Y’) ?>

   If the year is hard coded, replace it with the tag above.

   As for the tags, ensure you either have posts with categories and tags active/published.

   It would help if I know what what exact theme you are using and where it is.

   I am having a hard time with trying to change the hex colors in the CSS theme (Pristine) I am using. When I edit any of the colors, I lose the top header images (Oh! San Diego and the Cityscape)

   I’ve changed the themes images successfully. However, whenever I try to edit the hex colors in style.css the images disappear. I have tried changing them one by one and uploading and even colors that don’t seem to be involved with areas that have graphics cause them to disappear.

   Would anyone have any clue as to how I can change the colors in style.css without losing the themes header images? I truly appreciate any suggestions as I have no hair left on my head to pull out

   That is weird, those should be unrelated and changing one should not affect the other. BTW, which is the color are you trying to change?

   Tip: Ensure the hex color code is valid.

   Thank you so much for replying! I figured it out. I had my head up my @** and was using MS Front Page to edit CSS. As soon as i woke up and edited it in notepad it was fine!

   Thank you so much. Also, I will always keep credit at the bottom of my pages for your beautiful templates.

   I am using this wonderful theme and have successfully changed all what I wanted.
   But I just saw, that at the end of the posts is no link like “Previous Posts” or “Older Posts”, so that people could look for older entries.
