Nice theme, but it doesn’t display right in firefox.

@ Jim
What seems to be the problem in FF? Do you have a site I can check. We make sure our themes are compatible both in IE and FF, so I wonder what the issue is.

It isn’t displaying properly in FF for me either. I love the theme besides that.

@ Seartait
Can you check this link and tell me how it looks in FF, this is the version I released and is on my Play site. We check all our themes both on IE and FF, so if the theme is breaking, then restore to the original theme files, remove all sidebar widgets that are not standard (like text widgets or custom ones) and check.

On yours it looks fine, but still looks funky on mine. I restored the default sidebar, and haven’t messed with the files other than switching those around but it is still broken in FF to me.

I uninstalled it, and reinstalled it fresh after downloading it again from here and it still looks odd in my FF browser. I haven’t changed any of the widgets or done anything to it. I’m sort of new to WordPress and not confident enough to yet.

@ Seartait
As far as I can tell, you have widgets installed and in use, the default sidebar will look like the one in the example (except the Theme Switcher) along with the Flickr widget, can you switch the “Sidebar Widget” plugin off first and check? Let me know how it goes.
April 26th, 2007 at 5:51 am
Deactivated or activated the sidebar still does the funky thing with the default.
April 26th, 2007 at 7:31 am
of course… it’s fine in IE in all those instances.

@ Seatrait
I didn’t think this might make any difference, but just so we can eliminate that from the list, can you allow for comments by going to Options > General (uncheck “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”). I am not sure how that should matter, but that is the only difference in the way the [Play] site and your site is set
April 26th, 2007 at 5:00 pm
Did that, doesn’t look like it made a difference.

Do you have any HTML included in any of your posts? If so, can you strip them off and check. Also, if you like, I could login to your account and check it out if you like. Send me an email at headsetop[at]yahoo[dot]com if interested.

I didn’t add any html. Just used to basic posting functions through the admin section.
Sending you an email.

I’m having the dropping sidebar problem with some computers using IE. (It looks fine on mine and in Firefox) Any fixes for that?
June 17th, 2007 at 3:35 pm
@ Kathy
The sharesales ad in your sidebar is larger than the width of the right column. Remove it and you should be good, else, increase the sidebar width and decrease the main content column width.
June 18th, 2007 at 6:46 am
Sorry to be a pest, but I tried removing ALL the ads and taking the sidebar back to original and it didn’t work. (It looks fine on my computer in IE and in Firefox…this is just on a few computers apparently.) I also tried changing the sidebar/main sizes, removing padding & margins, resetting the cache…nothing seems to be working. It looks fine on most machines. Read everything I can find on this issue with lots of other themes, but nothing so far works. Any ideas? Am I totally stupid?

@ Kathy
I still suspect something in the sidebar, because we tested this theme on all browsers and it worked. Try disabling all the sidebar components and switch to the default ones, see if that works, then add one sidebar component at a time, that way you can catch the one that breaks. If not, let me know.
