   I installed this theme (love the look) but when I activate it, I see either “??” above and below the header or a variation on that in some browsers.

   Whatever is causing that forces the header art down about 25 pixels, causing it to be misalligned with the background.

   I don’t see this problem with any other themes that I tried.

   Currently, I have reset my blog to its original theme, but wonder if you can advise me on this? Let me know if you need me to reactivate Bright Side so you can see what I mean. Or, I could send a screenshot?

   Can you download the theme and upload a fresh copy to your site and check? I am thinking something funny happend to the earlier copy of your theme files. I did see the ?? on your site when the theme was active, it is strange.

   Ok, that’s a good idea, so I tried it. I have now reuploaded the newly downloaded files, and it still is not displaying correctly… those question marks persist. This is with having made no modifications to the sidebar or rightbar.

   It must be something in my existing files that is causing the conflict. I’m just not sure what to turn off or on to restest.

   I just upgraded WP last week and did the deactivate and then reactivate plugins thing. I eliminated a couple that were known not to work.

   Out of ideas here …

   @ Katie

   That is wierd, can you deactivate all your plugins and activate the theme, tell me if it breaks. If not, turn on (activate) one plugin at a time till it breaks.

   Thank you - I tried that just now, and even with all plugins turned off, the anomaly appears. In view source, I see that it appears at the top of the code, prior to the head section of the code and then just before this line in the code:

   Maybe that pinpointing of where the odd characters show up will help in this troubleshooting?

   I looked through the code on all the theme files and don’t see this, so it must be picking it up from a WP file that’s outside the themes folder.

   Quick way would be to use widgets, else you can add this line of code within < and > to make it appear:

   ?php get_links_list(); ?

   hi,
   I downloaded the theme and I love it.
   But recently I noticed that as the number of posts in the blog gets vast, i.e Crosses the number of posts to show on the frontpage, I dont see a link to go to the next page on the bottom of the frontpage.

   How would I implement it.

   You can add it to the index.php (Main Index Page) by simply adding these lines after the code ?php endwhile; ?

   ?php next_posts_link(’« Previous Entries’) ?

   ?php previous_posts_link(’Next Entries »’) ?

   Each line of code must be within < and > for it work!

   I ended up reinstalling Wordpress on my server and it fixed the problem. I then recovered from SQL backup and it re-occured.

   Obviously had to rebuild from scratch. It goes much faster the second time. Fortunately I just started the site. Need to find something that backs up pages and posts as well.

   @ Chris

   The images that is used for the background is 175px wide, that seems to be the issue in your case. I suggest you open the images folder within the theme folder and look for tabright.gif, open it and stretch the image horizontally (keeping the height constant at 84px) to say 225px, save and close. That should do it.

   The code you gave for previous and next entries gave me the same error. In reading the WP info I used this code:

   after the endwhile; in the index page and it works great.

   My pages are showing up with 2 homepages. Also in the place where you can choose a static front page none of the pages show instead it lists the posts twice.Do you know how to fix this?

   The problem above doesn’t seem to be with the theme as same happened when I changes to a different one. i guess I might need to reinstall WP.

   But another question:
   Could you please tell me how to edit the feed info on the right of the header/page? I want to use feedburner but can’t work out how to change it.

   Did you recently upgrade your WP? If it is not WP, it could be some plugin that is messing with your site.

   As for Feedburner RSS, use the Feedburner Feedsmith plugin.

   A problem has developed with my theme. It is cutting off the page before the text is finished. The second half of each page including sidebar content is coming out onto the grey background. Do you have any idea why this might happen?

   @ Liz

   When you create a post/page, there is an option (under Comments and Pings) to allow or disallow comments, if you do not check the box, by default it will disallow comments.
