hi,
is there any way to add “The next and previous post” links to these templates? thanks
December 16th, 2006 at 6:50 pm
I was wondering how I can get plugins such as Digg Dugg and YouFave to work. I activate them in the plugins section, but they don’t show up. Thanks.

@ hjuston
Follow instructions here to add previous-next links!
For WP before 2.0.4 version

For WP 2.0.4

@ Jjcd7
Usually, when you add a plugin and activate, you need to also copy and paste a small piece of code into your WP theme files, you must refer the plugin instructions (if provided) or address this question of the plugin authors site.

Okay, thanks.
I have one more question, sorry:
My friend googled my site, to see what would come up and under the title of the blog “Headsetoptions: Activism, Webdesign for Non-Profits & a Socio-political Blog” came up. I was wondering how I could change this, or why it is like this.
December 20th, 2006 at 1:00 am
Oh, never mind. I found where to change this in the header. Again, great theme1
December 20th, 2006 at 1:04 am
great stuff - i use one of your themes an i like it! great job!

Hi,
I set up and maintain the following blog for a friend.
http://donrogers.org/
I’m having a problem with the content. As you can see, there is a huge space in the middle of the content section. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why it’s doing that. Any ideas? I’ll be glad to send you the files if it would help.
THanks,
Bruce

@ Bruced
That is strange, but try this, open index.php and find this piece of code:
div class=”clear” > < / div
and delete it starting from < and >. Let me know if it worked.
December 22nd, 2006 at 8:16 pm
Thanks, but I can’t seem to see the piece of code you were referring to.

Thanks, hso!
I took out this entire line:
‘;$first= true; } ?>
and that took care of the problem. Is that what I was supposed to do? Thanks!

Hi, I adore your non-zero design. It is exactly what I was looking for. However, it does not seem to be compatible with the widgets plugin. Is that correct or did I do something wrong? Is there any way to make it widgets compatible? thank you
December 24th, 2006 at 5:38 am
@ Joseph
Here we go, it is rather simple to widgetize your theme, I added the required code to the sidebar.php file and have it available for download on my support page: http://www.headsetoptions.org/support/
Just scroll to the very end of the repository for the download. Let me know if it works

Hi,
some very great templates.
I love your nonzero-green with widget support. Unfortunately I can only find one Sidebar in WP to assign Widgets.
How do I manage to have both sidebars available for Widgets?
Best regards and thanks in advance…

@ Michael
Replace the existing code in functions.php with this one.

Is Old Forest 2.1 compatible? I can’t seem to get it to load up.
January 24th, 2007 at 12:36 pm
@ Walter Riggs
yes, the theme is compatible. Make sure the theme is installed in the correct folder, that is: /wp-content/themes/

Hi,
I didn’t see a category for your new “Pomodoro” theme.
I’m experiencing positioning problems with the menu. After installing the theme, the menu displayed correctly in IE 6, but not in IE7. However, once I removed my blog title from the header.php file, the menu shows correctly on the homepage in IE7 at the bottom of the header.
However, when you click to an individual post page, the menu repositions itself to the top of the header. Is this purely an IE7 issue?
March 24th, 2007 at 6:03 pm
@ jules.maas
I see your problem, try deleting only the tags for blog name and description, not the h1 or h2 tags. See if that works. IE7 is very buggy, hopefully IE8 will fix it

I’m having trouble with the bittersweet theme and it displaying previous posts pages. The codes link to http://www.myteenutopia.com/page/2/ … but when that page loads its all the same posts as my index page.
If I use the default wp themes http://www.myteenutopia.com/page/2/ is showing the previous 5 posts like I want. I don’t know a whole lot about code so maybe you could help me out?
August 5th, 2007 at 9:59 pm
@ Justin
The reason is, the theme has 2 loops in the index.php, one for the post and the other for the 5 excerpts. You can easily change this, open index.php (or MainIndex File from WP Admin panel) and look for this:
Delete it.
Then delete everything between the second layer comments, that should do it.

I found your nonzero 1.0 theme and decided to use it. I uploaded it and extracted it. It looks fine except - there is no visible Admin button/meta link for me to login to the admin tools.
I am now unable to reach the back end of the site.
Any tips?
December 10th, 2007 at 3:12 am
@ Shawn
Not all themes use the login tag, but anyway, to access your site (or for that matter any other WP powered site, simply type in http://www.wpsite.com/wp-admin where “wpsite.com ” is your site name. In your case it will be http://100yearplan.net/wp-admin

I just started using the non-zero (red) theme with the two sidebars to the right of the text - love it! I’d like to reduce the amount of space between each paragraph. How do I go about doing so?
Thanks, Mark
December 29th, 2007 at 10:54 am
@ Mark Evans
Just so I am clear, do you want all the whitespace between the 3 columns reduced or just in the sidebar? Does that mean the content will occupy less width or will the width of each column increase such that the space decreases? Hope I am not confusing you

I’m currently working on my husband’s website, and blog (at the same time), and wanted to go ahead and put up a temporary theme that goes along with his site better than the default blog theme. I chose the Old Forest theme, and I really like it. (www.woodencelt.com/blog) However, there is a spot at the bottom where the background is absent, so you can’t read any text there. What is the fix for this problem? It looks fine on the “About” page.
