amishI often find myself using the US school shootings to point to my colleagues what people outside of America thought about our school system, but I usually ended my argument saying it was a stereotype and not “what really happens here, well, I must confess I have been proved wrong three times in the last 6 days. Lately it seem like school shootings happen all the time, three school shootings in the past week alone means statistics-is-not-on-my-side. I ask my teacher friends if they carried a gun to school and they think I am being a wise ass, but really, if I were a teacher and one of my students pulled a gun on me, I would want to have my own to defend myself and my pupils.

I don’t believe it is a stereotype anymore, so I created a “Tag” just for school shooting(s).
