Israel is retaliation to the killing and abduction of its military guards has amassed infantry and tanks ready to invade Gaza. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said in a statement in Jerusalem “Let it be clear: We will reach everyone, no matter where,” and has instructed the army chiefs to prepare for “a prolonged and extensive military operation in order to strike the terror organizations and commanders”.
Israel holds hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, and the recent abduction is an politically incorrect effort pressurize Israel to release the Palestinian held across the border. In the past, Israel has succumbed to such threat and is expected to do the same this time around.
Should Israel release numerous prisoners in exchange of one soldier? Why not, it’s a fair deal if you ask me. After all, for every Israeli killed by Arabs, the Zionists massacre hundreds of Palestinians.
