Rumsfeld Rumble

How many retired US Generals will it take to convince President Bush to accept Rumsfeld’s resignation?
Granted that changes in leadership during a war might render the armed forces weak, but whom are we kidding, Rimsfeld is the same individual who said “you go to war with the Army you have when asked about inferior military equipment by a soldier serving in Iraq. The sentiments of those serving in Iraq and elsewhere are probably similar to those of the retired Generals, but will make for a bad career move to openly criticize the Secretary of Defense while still in service. Case in Point, General John Riggs, a three-star general who was stripped off a star prior to his retirement for speaking out against what is now codified as the Runsfeld doctrine, which calls for as small a force as possible to fight wars overseas.
