The NYPD has installed or in the process of installing over 3000 closed circuit cameras to monitor activities in and around the city, in hopes of thwarting any possible terrorist plots. London, the most recent western city attacked by terrorist (bombing of its Underground rail) has in place a extensive surveillance technology. What then is different about NYC? Is this just another ploy for big brother to watch over ordinary citizen?
