Is there such a thing called objective media coverage; rational, unbiased, factual news?
Since it’s inception, the media has continually squabbled over lack of journalistic freedom of expression, stating censorship of the right to free speech. Are journalists really oppressed? If so, why do we never hear a dateline story about media bias? or about the oppressor and the manipulations that they so cheerfully (read fake) decry? If television is any indication of journalistic freedom of expression, the subtle attempt to publish their propaganda like “war is not bad if it is fought to achieve peace” or that “poor blacks peddle dope as part of a political conspiracy to eradicate poor blacks“ may indeed warrant censorship. Is the media biased? If so, why? What are they trying to get out of the viewer?
